This litter is perfect for my ferrets. They don't get it in their feet and fur and drag it around the cage like the other litters. They almost never cough now. It's easy to scrape the litter off the bottom of the cage as needed.

The product us great, but I can no longer find it on line, so I have gone to a local pet store and have found a product pur ferrets like as ell, and the odor is controlled.

I have 2 guinea pigs and this is by far the best bedding I've purchased (you can get it for just $5.99 if you just do a little research). I've used everything under the sun. I've got carefresh natural and colors, fleece, kaytee soft n cozy, kaytee granule blend, aspen blah blah blah. Everything have their good and bad. The kind I purchased always have at least 4 stars general review. When I finally come across this, I will never go back to anything else.

It come in a hard pellet form (so to make it more comfy for my piggies I sprinkle pine shaving on top, but you don't have to, it's fine by itself)and when it get wet it expand and break down to a hard, sandy texture that is still dry to the touch. I have a white long hair piggy which got a little yellow belly stain because of the fleece didn't absorb fast enough and he like to sit where he pee for a bit before he moves away. Since I started to use this he stay clean and his belly starting to get whiter as the older hair starting to shed away.

It have a strong pine smell, but not much stronger than pine shavings. The odor control is simply AWESOME.I have 2 piggies in my room and since I start to use this, I smell nothing but the pine smell from the bedding itself. I sit by their cage to feed them everyday and still never smell the urine anymore. I do recommended that you should open the bag and let it sit for a day or two before using it, unless you want your room to smell like a pine forest, then by all mean use it right after you open it.

It's super easy to clean up too, just spot where the bedding look like sand instead of pellet and scoop that away! No more stinky fleece and towels and nasty bedding!
