I am pretty health conscious and try to make sure my dogs are healthy as well.

Before V-dog I couldn't find ANY dog food up to my standards and I had to make my own dog food in order to ensure my dogs got the nutrition they needed.

When I first got V-Dog I was worried my dogs wouldn't eat it because normally they get home cooked foods such as rice and lentils. Boy was I wrong, my dogs were so exited when the bag came and ate as fast as they could when I put it in their bowls. I have been using V-Dog for almost a year now and they still enjoy it!

My little buddy Tokyo has a sensitive tummy and many other foods that I've given him have made him vomit on occasion. He loves this kibble, has great energy, and has not vomited since he's been eating it for over 2 months. He's a toy Japanese chin super mix and has never been healthier. In 2002, the Guinness Book of World Records recorded the world's oldest living dog, Bramble, a 27 year-old vegan Border Collie. Need I write more? Excellent ingredients, was only concerned about the canola oil, but being an organic product that wouldn't be GMO. My dog is getting old but switching him to this food and spring water has made a real noticeable difference in his liveliness and health. I usually don't review on amazon but this company has helped my dog to have more life. So I'm very happy with this product. Thanks.

Sadly, in 2009 I was feeding my dogs Beneful from Walmart. Two of our min pin dogs lost their hair and one died from having (0) blood pressure, which never knew was even possible as we rushed him to the emergency dog hospital. One of the 2 others now has been diagnosed with cancer and is only about 4 years old. At the time, I gave the dog food away then started cooking for them myself for a while which is a real pain.

I then started doing research from the site dogfoodadvisor.com and found Orijen's 6 fish from Canada rated 5 stars and went with that for about 1 year and one of our dogs, a 3 year old started growing her hair back. We liked the Orijen's and the health benefits but my dog's didn't. They would sniff it and walk away. The other down side was that in the town in which I live has to ship often resulting in 10 days or so to get it.

So I started looking around at PetCo one day because I ran out, looking carefully at the ingredients of various foods and found myself head wagging at corporate marketing compared to ingredients of most dog foods. Anyways, I found this ugly brown bag with the typo Organix. I continued looking carefully at others still comparing then came back to the ugly brown bag of Kibble called Organix, picked it up and bought the 15lb bag.

First thing I did was went to the dogfoodadvisor site to check reviews and it wasn't listed and then became worried. I could only count on the Orgainix's labeling of being honest and accurate right.

What were the ingredients?

I've now went through about 60lbs of the regular dry kibble with my 4 min-pins and guess what! My dog who is now about 12 years old that had lost her hair from Beneful has about 95% of her hair grown back :). One of our girls had puppies about 3 months ago and we fed them the same as adults > Birth> (youtu.be/FjE3akdY0i8). We just heated up a little water and allowed the kibble to absorb and fed the puppies 3 times a day.

Our Min Pins get fed twice a day, only 1/4 cup! They love the dog food Orgainix, they are happy, have clear eyes and a shiny THICK coat. A photo of Baby and her puppy is posted.

I switched from Blue Buffalo Puppy to Organix Adult for my growing dog. He loves it and eats every last kibble. On another positive note, you can't beat the value of this food--our dog eats 1 cup of Organix per day vs. almost 2 cups of Blue Buffalo.

These dog cookies are amazing! I opened up the bag, and couldn't believe how great they smelled. I gave each of my dogs one, looked at the ingredients, then ate one myself. They are so good, I have caught my boyfriend eating them while the poor dogs looked at him waiting for theirs! I love these cookies, and will always have them in the house. Do NOT buy this for your dog! Buyer beware -When I saw "human grade ingredients" "blueberries" and "organic" I thought, great, I'll get them for our "Lucy". When they arrived and I read the ingredients I saw refined wheat flour and sugar as the first two ingredients with more sugar and "crap" to follow and way down on the list is blueberry flavor. Do not buy this product for your pet unless you want your dog fast-tracked to poor health and an early death. I regularly check labels, but didn't have an opportunity to with this product purchased on-line, and yet, I am still shocked at the way this company pulls-the-wool over the consumers' eyes. Shame on them!

After being constantly given nasty looks, as they turned their noses up at the food bowl when trying the C&P Adult version we hit gold. They really go after this stuff. It serves my purpose much better than I expected too. I have one younger more active dog and one older less active dog. So I wanted to maintain the younger ones weight, if not gain a pound or so in the process but on the other hand I wanted my older dog to lose some.

I was a little hesitant my goal would be achieved but after speaking to a C&P rep. at lenght we came up with the proper amounts to feed each dog to keep the younger healthy and active without losing weight yet gaining just a small amount of weight. The same with the older. Feed her less so she will lose slowly, adjusting amounts as needed, and increase her activity level.

So far the advice has worked well. My little guy has gained just 1/4 of a pound which is great for 6lb dog. The Queen of the household has lost about 3/4lb so far which is also good. I don't want her dumping 2 pounds or more overnight.

They still get their dried fruits and veggies they liked ( the only thing they liked ) from the adult and they sure like like the kibble 100% better. This is a very good all purpose high quality food. Weight Management is just a bit misleading I think.

Yes, it certanely will do weight management but it works well for dogs who need to lose or gain weight. Also the word "weight"

can make some, including myself, think more of a senior dog. This food is not just for seniors. It works well on any stage dog except a puppie. I think if more people started feeding their dogs, at an earlier age, with a weight management food it would save them and their pets weight issues further along in life

I was a little skeptical at first because the size seemed a little small for our 80# dog, but it worked out real well. He pushed them around a little bit, but because they are square, they never tipped over. We are very pleased with them. They rinse out beautifully.

My dog loves the chews that come in these bags, and I love how much you get for the price. There is a slight downside in that every bag is different, so you never know exactly what you'll get. Then again, I like the surprise element. Also, I find that while my dog has his favorites, he really likes just about everything that comes in these (the only exception is the biscuits, but in more than a half dozen bags, I find I generally get only a few of those and sometimes none). I have thought about buying the chews he likes individually, but we would lose the variety that also keeps him interested. I would lose the option of just throwing our random treats here and there because I wouldn't have them if I only bought the "special" chews. I tend to give him these when I have to leave him on his own for a few hours, and I often find that he is so engrossed in chewing that he doesn't mind that I'm leaving.

I like Redbarn products. Or rather, my dogs do. Their pig-ear alternatives are huge hits in particular. I was curious to try more of their stuff, and what better way than a value variety bag?

The "variety" was ho-hum though, and half of it wound up in the trash, unwanted. We had about 3 pieces of beefy munchies, two slivers of pig ear, 4 smoked 2" bone slices I know as "doggie delights", 5 or 6 of the plain doggie delights, a few broken pieces of biscuits, and an enormous *enormous* meaty knee bone. I know that sounds pretty awesome, but my dogs didn't touch the doggie delights, which were the overwhelming majority among the selection. I don't see how any dog would care for the plain, bleached-white, textureless, flavorless ones.

The rest was in broken bits and pieces, crumbs that seemed like afterthoughts tossed in. Only the massive knee bone provided any real joy. And it was very well loved. However, I can get that for $4. For almost 4 times that, I would've liked better treats. There were no bully slices. I felt like the selection was mostly just cheap leftovers.

I may purchase this one more time, to see what I get on a second roll of the dice. There are better variety bags.

My dog keep feverishinly scratching and biting herself bloody. She didn't have fleas, so what could it be? Hill's Science Diet representative at Petco recommended Sensitive Skin formula food. We were already feeding her good petstore food...not supermarket food which is not nutricious. We changed to the Science Diet, and within a couple weeks she stopped scratching and hurting herself. That was a decade ago, and she has been fine ever since. We did have her off the product for a few weeks, and she went right back to scratching. A friend has a dog with bad skin. He pays outrageous amounts for his prescription dog food (he's lucky his dog is small and doesn't eat much). Science Diet worked perfectly for my dog at a fraction of the price. Oh and by the way, when we had the petfood scare a few years ago and dogfood and catfood was recalled Science Diet was not one of the tainted brands (not made in China). I was surprised at how many premium brands were recalled during that time, but Science Diet was clean and safe (both canned and dry).

I have a 7 year old shepard mix. For the past couple years he has had dry, flaky skin. He scratches constantly. I tried moisturizing shampoo, giving him oil/grease in his food (just made his tummy upset he also has a sensitive stomach) and finally had a "duh" moment one day in Petco when I saw this product.

I had to order from a new shipper since my normal shipper was sold out of the type of dog food I normally get Ground Dinner with Chicken and Rice. I thought I'd use this, since my dog has also eaten the Ground Dinner with Chunky Chicken before. Instead I'm sent Ground LIVER for puppies! Nothing that I had ordered or expected and obviously it's made so I can't return it!

My little dog loves Beneful dog food, and initially she ate the regular size kibble. I noticed, however, that she had to spend a lot of time breaking the pieces into bites that she could then easily eat. When they came out with these little IncrediBites, I knew she would love them. They are so much easier for her to chew, and she doesn't leave crumbs all over the kitchen floor like she did with the big pieces.

The only problem I have had is that I've only been able to find the 16-pound bags in the stores in my area. That includes all the grocery stores, Walmart, Target, etc. I bought the big bag, and it lasted for many months. I have read that it's better to buy the amount of dry dog food that your dog will eat within about a month. Otherwise, the dog food loses moisture and nutrients, can become moldy, becomes hard, and becomes less flavorful. It may seem like a good idea to buy huge bags to save money, but you end up losing something in quality. So for my tiny dog who eats such small amounts each day, I really wanted a smaller bag. Fortunately I found this 7-pound bag here on Amazon, and with my Prime membership, it was shipped for free. Can't beat that.

I stupidly purchased this junk with the recommendation of my vet. I assume she must be getting a kickback or something.... I'm really not sure.

Beneful dry food only contains 4% "real" meat and at most 4% "real" dried vegetables. The rest is mainly junk like Animal Byproducts and Corn.

If Feed Corn (the hard, floury corn rather than succulent "Sweet" corn) and Byproducts are so good for dogs then why does the packaging not show these? Instead the packaging shows nice fresh veggies and chicken breasts or slices of nice lean steak!

Most people believe the packeging and don't BOTHER to look at the ingredients (I fell into that category)!! Beef Flavored food only has to contain 4% Beef as does Chicken flavored food…

There are only a few ingredients that I'm okay with but basically dog food you see in places like Walmart etc falls into the "junkfood" category. Check the ingredients.

My dog has tummy issues so I went with Blue Buffalo for small breeds and he is obsessed with it PLUS it's all natural... Yes, it is expensive BUT I love my dog like a child. His health is important to me.

I have read all of the reviews, bad and good, for this product. But when it comes down to it, regardless of "corn" as a primary ingredient, it is the best choice for my two little dogs. The kibbles are small and soft for easy chewing. All other hard dog food, my Pom swallows whole. And, my Bichon has skin allergies, and this is the ONLY food which he doesn't scratch non-stop. I do supplement with a little meat and vegies here and there to help with nutrition. But my two dogs are healthy and happy on Beneful IncrediBites!!

While I know Beneful may notbe the healthiest option for dog food, at times my little one will not eat her food, and I am more concerned that shes wats, than if its the top shelp of dog food. Furthermore, everyone deserves a treat sometimes, and I say, this is like letting your kids have a happy mean once in while.

My yorkie can easily chew and handle these smaller pieces. I started buying food with smaller pieces after reading that this can sometimes be the issue when smaller dogs are not eating, sensitive teeth or gums.

The food does dry out, so keep the bag closed up or put in a sealable container.

For about $10, this is a good value. I purchased the small size for a mini Dachsund (~10 lbs). The bowls are stainless and seem to be decent quality. The base is sturdy enough with foam non-skid feet. If your dog chews everything in sight the plastic base might be enticing to them but otherwise its good quality. Wish they had a few more color options but overall a good purchase.

Our darling Petey lost his left front leg to cancer two years ago and is doing wonderfully well now thanks to some very dedicated vets at U of F. His doctor said he needed to take glucosamine & chondroitin every day. Happy Hips Duck Breast is THE BEST!! Petey is a very picky eater but he begs every morning for his 'medicine.' Our dogs get one at lunch time everyday. When we head to the treat drawer they are all smiling from ear to ear. Our old man is 15 and he was having a hard time with the stairs but after eating his treat dily he can run around like the babies who are 2. My babies love this treat and look forward to it at lunch everyday so they shall always get their favorite treat because they take such good care of us. The first package I bought would bring a stampede of paws when it was shaken.

This package, some of the pieces seemed discoloured and my cat wouldn't eat any of it. She loves treats of nearly all kinds and loved the first package, but anything from this bag, she sniffs and ignores completely.

Got these for our big cat who never seems to get enough food. Careful with his diet so was impressed with the limited ingredients. Was skeptical that they may not be flavorful enough for him, but he goes crazy for them. Likes them much more than the other brands of treats we have purchased. Also got chicken and he loves that too. Only complaint is that they are slightly messy. They flake a lot so I give them to him in his feeding area and sometimes put them in a dish with a splash of warm water to make them more like wet food. Loves it!
