I have tried several brands of grain-free food and the C&P Turkey & Vegetable Formula is one of the best. I use Castor and Pollux kibble but need something soft to hide the various pills and powders my Scotties need. This is organic and because it is grain-free, I don't have to worry about allergies.
This stays soft, even after it's been opened and refrigerated, and makes it very easy to wrap around tablets and capsules. Any powder mixes easily in a tablespoon of the canned food, and the dogs love it. I have also used the beef, but it can be a bit stringy and harder to use.
If I had a dog that required soft food, this would be my choice. For administering medication or even as an occasional supplement to C&P kibble, this can't be beat.
