I got different packaging, but am still very pleased. Excellent ingredients, love he zip top. We usually feed Acana, but couldn't find and with the Amazon Prime 2-day shipping. My beagle-basset had no problem switching over. I would consider it as a regular food.

My dog used to be a picky eater before we tried this brand/type of food. She also experienced some grain allergies which made her itch. Several years ago we decided to give this stuff a try and to this day my dog can't get enough of it. We not only use it for regular feeding but as treats to motivate good behavior. I keep waiting for her to tire of it but she never does. The ingredients appear wholesome and overall the food doesn't seem to be loaded with filler products. Sure it's more expensive than some other brands but it seems worth the price. When my dog eats this food, I don't worry that she isn't getting proper nutrition. To me that's worth the price. Good stuff.

Trying to switch my yorkie to grain free food. Still mixing with the old brand, but she seems to like it. She is a fussy eater. Happy it seems to be working out. Would recommend for anyone wanting to go grain free for their pet. Good for small breeds to as she weighs 8-10lbs.

This food is great. I was feeding Pro-Plan, but I am switching to the Merrick. I like the fact that it is made in the USA and does not use products from China. I like the fact that it is grain free. So far, my dogs have firm stool and less of it. Can't wait until they are totally converted to the Merrick so we can try the different flavors.
