I was looking for a DuraBolz dog food bowl with a permanent rubber lip to prevent sliding on the floor. We have one for our big dog, but it seems that DuraBolz's are no longer available. The DuraPet bowl also has a permanent rubber pad on the lip of the bowl and works great. It doesn't wrap around the lip as it does on the DuraBolz, but still works to keep the bowl from sliding and it seems just as permanently attached as on the DuraBolz. My only "negative" comment is that the sheetmetal from which the DuraPet is formed is thinner than that of the DuraBolz and it has a less substantial sound when mixing food and when the dog's tags jangle against the bowl. However, all that is inconsequential with regard it's function as a non-skid food bowl, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or buy another of these bowls.

I have a 100 pond dog who loves to tip over her bowl, but she has not tipped this over. The inside is a little smaller than expected, so I would order the next size up from whatever size you think you want. Nice quality.
