I work at a dog pound and bought this for a dog that had itchy, red, scaly skin for reasons that neither we nor the vets could figure out. Prior to this, we had tried various topical treatments (medicated sprays and baths, aloe gel), medication (steroids and antibiotics), changing kennel cleaner, switching foods and adding things like oils, sardines and apple cider vinegar to his diet. Nothing worked. Finally saw this at a pet store and thought, eh, why not give this a try? It's natural and at worst, nothing happens. Well within a few days of applying this to his skin there was noticeable improvement. He loved it too, whenever I brought out the bottle he would immediately lie down and roll over. It says you can add it to their food too but I never had to because he would lick up the excess. I was a little worried about that at first but his skin continued to improve in spite of that.
I'd highly recommend this for anyone who has a pet with itchy skin. As I mentioned above, even if it doesn't help it's all natural so it probably won't do any harm.
