This travel bowl is FABULOUS!!! I travel with my dog frequently on short in-town trips and almost as frequently on weekend and vacation trips out of town all the time. I also travel with my mother's dog too. My dog happily drinks out of this bowl when we are on the go, and it cleans, dries, folds/zips and stores so easily and is so convenient to have on hand for our many car trips. The more exceptional thing is that my mother's dog will willingly drink out of this bowl too! Now that might not seem like a big deal, but we're talking about a rescue dog, that was so mistreated and abused that it is afraid of anything that makes noise especially bowls that she feeds or drinks out of, that can clink when her dog tag touches the bowl, let alone actually strikes it. This bowl does not seem threatening to my mother's dog, Lily, at all. What a relief!! I can not recommend this bowl highly enough!! Many thanks!

I bought this item because we take our dogs on a lot of outdoors activeties, our oldest daughter has something similar for her own dog and it is handy. The bowl colaspes which is nice because space is always limited when you camp or hike especialy if your going where there are no amenities. The bowl comes with a clip, and is light weight enough our bigger dog to carry it on his collar, or in his dog pack. We have a border collie and a poodle mix, the bowl is large enough for the ammount of food and water they require. It washes out nicely and line dries, so maintainence is easy too. I would say buy it, you won't regret it, if your the type that takes your dogs every where you want to go.

This has worked well for water, haven't tried food yet, but I figure it will work well. You can even keep the water in it and collapse it for travel!
