This product (along with B12) brought my cat back into the normal range for red blood cells. He no longer has anemia. He takes Pet Tinic twice a day year round. it has not only brought my cat back into a healthy range, but eliminated the likelihood of him needing costly hormone supplementation for the anemia brought on by kidney disease. Okay, it was my own fault for not reading carefully. I've bought Pet-tinic before in the 4 oz bottle for nearly the same price, so I didn't pay attention to the fact that this one was only 1 oz. The product is fine, and the service was fine--the bottle size is just not a bargain.

My little three-year old was very sick and very weak with what we think was toxoplasmosis. One of the suggestions my vet told me was to use Pet-Tinic along with the other meds he was given. I am happy to say he is now back to his old self running and jumping and being a ton of fun. I'm sure Pet-Tinic helped with getting his blood levels back up from being anemia. I'm still giving it to him, but on a lower dose. Iron tends to cause constipation, so I'm watching him carefully.

At age 17, my kitty needs an iron supplement. This is really easy to give to her, and helps wash down the pills she takes, too. According to my vet, it's working. That's all that matters.

My vet recommended this to increase my cat's red blood cells with the iron in it. It's easy to administer on top of cat food and cat will eat it. Be sure to save the dropper on the small size if you order the larger size, no dropper. It's a good product, but it did not affect my cat's red blood cells. Seems to me if a pet is eating good quality pet food, this product should not be necessary. But if vet recommends, it's worth a try.
