I do understand the importance of publishing the recommeded dosage and the amount of product per capsule, and maybe some of the complaints regarding such will help them to change that. However, I have used this product along with many supplements from NOW, and have always been satisfied with their quality and excellent value. NOW does not use artificial coloring, fillers or preservatives in their products, and is the main reason I use their stuff. The low price is great, but I don't like ingesting ingredients like Titanium Dioxide.

For people looking for the content amount per serving, which is (3) capsules: 1,100 mg. of glucosamine 1,200 mg. of chondroitin 300 mg. of MSM

The capsules are the easiest of all glucosamine products to swallow, as the tablets you get from the grocery store can make you feel like you're taking a horse pill. I even give my large dogs this product at a lesser dose, and put the capsules right into their food, which they eat without even grunting...(or should I say inhale?)

MSM is a nice adder, but my only knock is I wish they would have put more in, as I believe a higher dose would be much more effective.

I do not work for MSM, but I spend a lot of money with them. You can also send them an email, and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to give you any information you need.

The FDA does not regulate supplement companies, so I have to take NOW and other companies like them at their word. They appear to have a good track record and reputation, and I will jump on board here and second my positive opinion towards them and this product.

As for how it works: Well, that's subjective and different for everybody. My oldest dog seems to respond well to it, and I've experienced a little relief in the knees and lower back, but I still have to make sure I get the right footwear and listen to my body. Some people will like it, while others won't. I don't expect supplements to work wonders or be a "cure-all", so I keep that in mind, and if your joints are in too bad a shape, and getting out of bed or bending over is a major chore, then please go see an orthapedic, and do not take someone who says she took this for a week and is now running marathons and kicking people in the head at MMA matches at face value. I'm not saying go swallow a bunch of NSAIDS, but you are in need of much more than a mild supplement, and are better off taking the advice of a professional and not an Amazon.com reviewee (i.e. me).

As for what I like about it: The price is a great value compaired to other similar products. You don't have to take 10 pills in the morning, 15 at lunch and 25 before bedtime, which saves me from getting annoyed at the ridiculous regimine some companies suggest, which makes it too easy to forget, and too easy to run out in a week. I've never had any stomach upsets or adverse reactions with this product, and I have noticed less of a tendency to reach for the anti-inflammatories when using regularly.

Not terribly expensive, nor fancy in its appearance, but when I decide my knees will benefit from a prettier package and nasty fillers with horse pill sized tablets and an exaggerated dosing amount, I'll use something else. Until then, I'll just stick with what works for me.

Long time lifter. When I do shoulders or chest I get popping noises. When I take these I don't. Highly recommended. They may have a 2-3 week spin up time, before you start seeing results.

Here's my tip: I tried glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM before, using the label dosage, but I got no relief. After reading an article by a doctor about adjusting dosage to weight, I decided to try again with a dosage geared to my actual weight. The article also said to make sure that the form was glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, which the Now brand has. The non-sulfate forms are cheaper but not considered effective, so don't waste your money on a cheaper brand. I take other Now brand food supplements, and I am never disappointed.

A doctor recommended I go on this for another reason, didn't work for the reason they recommend. But has worked wonders with my not so great knees (31yrs. old). I had repeated problems in my teens & early adult years with my knee caps slipping out of place, and still do if I'm not careful how I move. All of that slippage has left my knees with a bone on bone feeling when I walk, very unpleasant & painful. This has done such wonders that when I ran out of it and had not taken it for two days my knees were right back to that nasty old bone feeling. This stuff is not cheap by any means, but for me....it's something I'm willing to pay for.
